Terms of Service

Last updated: July 1, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SermonFire (the "Service"), operated by SermonFire ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. One person or ministry per account unless you are on a plan that includes team seats.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown in USD and may change with 30 days' notice. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. Bundle generation and export limits reset each billing cycle.

3. Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on your first paid month. See our Refund Policy for full details.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to create content that is unlawful, hateful, defamatory, or that infringes third-party rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or automate scraping of the Service or its outputs.
  • Share your account with people outside your ministry or plan seat limit.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to use (including copyrighted sermons you did not author or license).

5. Generated Content

Sermon bundles, outlines, and other content generated for you by the Service ("Generated Content") are yours to use, adapt, preach, print, and distribute within your ministry and public teaching. We claim no copyright in your Generated Content. You are responsible for reviewing Generated Content before public use — it is a draft, not a final theological statement, and may contain inaccuracies or misattributed scripture.

Content you upload ("Your Content") — including sermon manuscripts, audio, video, and YouTube links — remains yours. You grant us a limited license to process, transcribe, and analyze Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service depends on third-party providers (payment processing, email delivery, AI model APIs, cloud infrastructure). Their availability affects ours. See our Privacy Policy for the current list of subprocessors.

7. Termination

You may cancel at any time from the billing page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable. On termination you can export your bundles for 30 days, after which we may delete your data.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Generated Content is a preparation aid and does not replace prayer, study, or pastoral discernment. See our Disclaimer.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SermonFire is operated. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.
